3 Day Murchison Falls National Park Uganda Safari from Kampala

Your driver-guide will pick you up early from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe. Begin the journey north through Luwero and Nakasongola. You may stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an optional rhino tracking experience (extra cost).

Continue to Masindi town for lunch before entering Murchison Falls National Park. You’ll head straight to the Top of the Falls where the mighty Nile squeezes through a 7-meter gorge and plunges 45 meters into the river below — an unforgettable sight.

Start your day with a morning game drive in the northern section of the park. Look out for lions, elephants, giraffes, Uganda kobs, buffaloes, and numerous bird species.

Return to the lodge for breakfast and some rest. In the afternoon, embark on a boat safari on the Nile River. This scenic cruise takes you to the bottom of Murchison Falls, passing large numbers of hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, and water birds along the banks.
