7 Days Gorilla Trekking and Golden Monkey Safari in Uganda

After arrival, drive to Lake Mburo National Park, Uganda’s smallest savannah park. Enjoy a boat ride on Lake Mburo or evening game drive.

Start your day with a guided walking safari to spot zebras, impalas, and elands on foot. Later, transfer to Bwindi, passing through terraced hills and local villages.

Begin the day with a briefing before heading into the forest to track endangered mountain gorillas. The trek can take 2–6 hours depending on the gorillas’ location.
Spend one hour observing these magnificent creatures, then hike back and relax.

After breakfast, drive to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. In the afternoon, join the Batwa Trail, guided by former forest dwellers, to learn about their ancient forest survival skills.

Adventurers may opt for a volcano hike (e.g. Mt. Sabinyo or Gahinga).
